Russo (407), Campinas, Brazil May 30, 2008 750ML Bottle. Amazing Dark Brown color, the foamy is beige and persistent one! Aroma is complex, some notes of fruits and toffee and roasted malt as well. Flavor is complex too, I could feel some chocolate, roasted malt and a lightly alcohol presence.. Mouthfeel is bitter at right point. I like it a lot!!

Deep dark red with a rather large frothy beige-white head. Aroma is mildly sweet, some raisins and roasted caramel. Creamy mouthfeel with rather lively carbonation. Flavour is wonderful, good chocolate, raisins, sweetness. Slightly roasted and dry finish. Really a wonderful dunkler bock. Incredibly balanced, none of the sweetness of many other dunkel bocks. Wonderful! HenrikSoegaard (2867), Randers, Denmark May 5, 2008 Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Amber colour. Perfect! Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma, Orange notes. Moderate bitter flavopr. Nice complex fruity notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Fantastic dunkel bock. letsbeer (6), Brazil does not count May 2, 2008 Aroma is complex, with some caramel and a mix of roasted malt notes. The head is beige, foamy and firmly persistent. Dark brown, no bright. On flavor, the roasted malts are dominant. Medium body, some complexity. Good carbonatation, the bitterness is light to medium, well balanced with the beer. Finish is smooth. The beer is fairly well balanced, with some roasted malt aftertaste. Great beer, at the same level (but not the best) as the others from La Trappe.
