The nose has cherries set off against a soft malty background. The appearance is an opaque, dark brown wtih a red hue. The head resembles cappucino and the head retention is good. On the palate there is more malt and cherries but bubble-gum appears in the middle section. There is a silky texture and considerable structure but a cleansing and more sour finish than expected. A very well balanced and complex beer.

On tap; pours a brownish golden color-minimal head. Aroma some what sweet, almost caramelly. Taste, very smooth, sweet and very easy drinking. It was much better than I expected though not quite as good as some Belgium choices. Overall though, I would recommend this beer.

Dark brownish amber with a tan head that diminished quickly to nothing. Aroma of caramel, Belgian yeast, raisins and alcohol. Taste is sweet with a bit of yeast and alcohol. Not much depth to it, but reasonably pleasant. Body is medium-thin and moderately carbonated. It finishes with a residual alcohol taste. Definitely not a top notch dubbel.

Bottle. A nice aroma of malt, chocolate, light fruity, raisins. The pale beige creamy head is large with a normal duration. The body is dark brown. The taste is very malty, reminds me a little bit of an chocolate pudding, later it gets a little bit bitter. The body is medium strong and creamy with a soft carbonation.

Dark brown body with a creamy off-white head and amazing lacing. Floral, with fruits and caramel, namely kiwi in the aroma. Full and alcoholic mouthfeel, sweet and fruity taste. Nice.

A - little hazy very dark orange and amber S - dark fruits - raisins, plums, light rum and syrupy malt T - I got some perfume and oil taste, maybe badly stored before bought. However dark fruits in the body and winy and little dry end M - medium to hight carbonation with medium body D - not much drinkable since the perfume and oil taste, but I can bet other bottles or tap beer will be lot more better
