Dark color. Easy to drink. Sweeter than I would have preferred. Pretty smooth and drinkable. I like the stronger La Trappe beers better (trippel and quad). La Trappe is far from La Crappe.

Aroma of iodine and nailpolish with a slight beet sugar smell. Flavor is old prune juice, watered down with hard spring water. Flavor is very thin, but has a strong lasting flavor. This is not as much fun, or as awe inspiring as the Quadruple. I’ll stick with the Quad.

Looks like prune juice and menstrual blood. Smells sweet, tastes like carbonated pitted fruit, grape soda, with an after taste of dried dates. It is refreshing and I like it.

Got on draught at maxs. Pours a dark brownish color. Smells of sugar. Taste is very sweet. Has a bit of alcohol in the aftertaste. Not bad

This beer had a dark brown and cloudy color with a big, foamy, dark-tan head that had good retention and some cling. Featured a strong malt aroma with pine and grainy hops and some caramel too. A sweet, malty caramel taste with some sour and bitter hop flavors too. The body was somewhat wet with a lot of fizz and a lively mouthfeel. Quite a good beer!
