Had this beer some time ago, transferring data from database before Januar I was using to rate beer. As I drink this again I will add a complete review.

330ml bottle. Pours clear deep brown body with a yellow-brown head. Aroma of tutti-fruit, vanilla and anise. Well balanced taste of bananas, vanilla, caramel and raisin. Mild bitterness. Lasting aftertaste.

Brown, fruity, caramel, toffee, decent carbonation, an enjoyable dubbel with a good body

Pours clear and brown with a big off white head. Nose is caramel, spice, brown and Belgian candy sugar. Flavor is sweet for the most part with a hint of bitter in the middle. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, soft and creamy.

Bottle at Ivars Kro. Pours deep amber with a light brown head. Aroma of spices and raisins. Pretty sweet, not much bitterness. Some alcohol, but a pretty good dubbel.

Fruity, light nose. Medium amber color with average head, no appreciable retention. strong astringent alcohol dominates throughout tasting experience, a characteristic not shared with even the highest alcohol / vol belgian beers. Crappy shit tasting finish... yuckmeister.

Nice double. Deep brown colour, tiny brown head which diminishes quickly. Aroma is sweet with some herbs. Taste is sweet malts, caramel, raisins. Medium sweet finish. Full body. Definitely a good balance between sweet flavours and malt.
