Bottle, 33cl - Slightly hazy dark brown beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of rye bread, yeast, dried fruits and nuts. Flavor is roasty malty with hints of nuts, banana esters and dried fruits. Aftertaste is dry, and bitter. Medium bodied soft beer.

(330 ml bottle) Head disappeared very quickly, even when drafted right. Deep aroma with a tangy taste. Palate is sour, bitter and sweet.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2009 341ml bottle. gets out of the bottle as soon as you open it. Be ready with your glass ! Pours dark brown with big brown head. Head sparkles and fades fast. Laces a bit on the glass. Nice aroma. Some sweetness, dark fruits and some nuts maybe. Roasted malt also. Quite discrete taste. A bit acidic and metallic. low carbonation. Quite nutty taste. It seems the last one was better than that. Still got 2 bottles, will revisit ! Rating #34 Re-rate 090510. Aroma is quite sweet, alcohol, a bit vinous. Some not too dark/sweet fruits, cherries maybe. Taste is a bit discrete. Not metallic (only a small tiny hint maybe). Hints of cherries also. Medium carbonation. Aroma 7 to 8, Flavour 6 to 8, Overall 12 to 14. Nice beer !!
