"Discover this genuine dark Trappist beer with a gentle flavour, creamy head and pronounced bouquet.
La Trappe Dubbel has a deep brown colour and attractive beige froth. The use of caramel malt gives it a gentle aromatic caramelised quality. It has a rich malty flavour with a touch of sweetness. Post-fermenting La Trappe Dubbel is a smooth drink, and yet has some real body and intense flavour to it.

Bottle 750ml. A clear ruby red beer with a frothy head that fades away after a minute. Aroma is faint and I can´t distinguish anything. This beer has heavy carbonation and taste is bitter with a medium to strong alcohol finish. Beautiful appearance, good flavor and disappointing aroma.

Pours a clear brown with a brown-white head. Dust malt aroma Tastes include alcohol, toffee and hints of nutmeg. Finishes with roasted malt and herby yeast bitterness. Slightly cloying sugar in back of the throat at the end. Not much malt sweetness. Medium-full body with fairly sharp carbonation. Overall, on the herbier side for dubbels, and not my favorite.

Clean dark brown color, clean with long-lasting creamy foam. Vanilla and toasted cereals and malts on the aroma. Roasted cereals and malts on the taste, also some fruits, bittersweet ending.

Bottle. Dark brown, with a foamy beige head, looks nice. Aromas of toffee and dried berries. Taste is light sweet, decent bitter, noticeable alcohol. Good carbonation, overwhelming finish, has spices, roasty maltiness and something bready that lingers around for a while. Every sip is something to enjoy, great beer, has quite a few aromas to discover.

Dark cinnamon coloured pour with a lofty ample head. Smells of decaying berries and raisins, earth and wood. Tastes the same but with toffee and toasted malts. This ol’ fellah couldn’t be drinking these everyday, musky leather sweetness with potent alcohol flavour. Pretty fun to try it.

Not as intense as I expect from dubbel, but quite drinkable. Starts bit too thin, but afterwards goes down with some performance. Nice maltiness, caramel, candy, dried fruits, raisins, spicy. Mostly sweet with moderate to light bitterness. Decent, bit too carbonated
