300ml bottle. pours deep brown with a ruby tint; the head is puffy, of average size, and of average retention. honey, banana, and caramelized brown sugar (is there such a thing) dominate the aroma. the aroma is very refreshing and pleasant, without jamming the senses with complexity. while the taste is parallel to the palate, it adds depth with caramel, medium hops, and an almost velvet finish. high in drinkability, the alcohol is disguised through a complex character. this is a very pleasant ale. one indeed to savour.

Pours dark brown with a surprisingly thin head. Aroma is pleasant but not overwhelming. Some fruit in the taste, as well as a little bit of yeast. Very good.

Bottle. Dark amber with beautifull almost lasting off-white head. Fruit explodes out of the glass - its almost perfumed. The malts are more present in the still rather fruity flavor. Average finish with a little end-note of bitterness. Seems a little out of balance - the fruits almost hides the malts and the hops.

Bottle - poured into a Chimay Glass. Immediately notice the re/brown colouring and "murky" look - big fan. Wonderful fruity aroma (banana?) - very noticeable. Flavour while very good not as full bodied as some others I have tried previously. Very enjoyable and competetively priced - certainly have again.

Deep brown colored beer, with a ring and a thin cap of beige foam. Moderate lacing. Mild malt and even milde tart plum in the aroma. I taste a sweet caramel malt with honey, dark candi sugar, and plum brandy. Flavorful to be sure, but a little too short-lived to be considered excellent. Medium bodied, very smooth, with way too little carbonation.

Bottle at Bar & Cigar, Oslo. Lots of fruit and malt, a full flavour beer if there ever was one. Not much hop presence, but somehow the sweetness is not cloying. A very enjoyable beer.
