Pours a dark brown body with a medium beige head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is a mix of sweet malt, faisins, plums and caramel. Taste is malty and sweet with notes of dark fruits and cognac. Mouthfeel is too thin for the style, but this is a good to very good beer anyway. Haack (101), Hornslet, Denmark

Pours clear plain brown, small beige head. Strong caramel aroma. Taste is caramel as well, moderately sweet with some yeast and spices. Minimal hopped, and a rather thin mouthfeel. Drinkable, oh yes, but I miss the complexity a trappist dubbel should have.
