3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Kristall-König (1552) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - AUG 2, 2011
Trockener Abgang.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 LomYst (140) - Rotterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 19, 2011
Red brown, a bit transparent, nice soapy head... aroma is very malty with hints of whisky and some spices, some yeast, not to intense though, later on some apple appears... taste is malty sweet and bitter at first, but later on the sweetness takes over, finish is bitter and earthy with hints of malt... nice oily texture and soft sparkles but it’s body isn’t as fat as i’d like it to be... nice fairly complex double that lacks punch
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 onceblind (1358) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 17, 2011
Hazy burnt orange, with an aroma of orange citrus and orange rind, with a huge earthy malt backbone and a touch of tobacco. Also a bit of Belgo yeast spice AND funk. Wonderfully earthy malt backbone on the flavor, with not as much orange as on the nose. Delightfully fruity yeasty tones, slight spice and citrus. Near perfect Dubbel.
