"Discover this genuine dark Trappist beer with a gentle flavour, creamy head and pronounced bouquet.
La Trappe Dubbel has a deep brown colour and attractive beige froth. The use of caramel malt gives it a gentle aromatic caramelised quality. It has a rich malty flavour with a touch of sweetness. Post-fermenting La Trappe Dubbel is a smooth drink, and yet has some real body and intense flavour to it.

0,33 l botttle. Pours out in a darkest brown, one finger foamy head. Fresh hopy fruity in a belgian style on the nose. Starts with a lot of malt, lower fruit and sweetness as expected. Little bit yeast. Smooth, herb chewing gum. Light alcoholic, spicy malt. Mid bitter ending. Yes!

Dark reddish brown colour, hazy, beige nicely lacing creamy head. Dried fruits like figs and raisins, cherries, gingerbread, coffee and chocolate, liquorice, sweet and slightly roasted malty caramel and toffee. Lingering sweet, fruity aftertaste. High carbonation, but still a soft mouthfeel, good body.

Pours dark brown/red with a large beige head. Pleasant aroma with notes of raisins, spices and maybe some licorice. Strong complex malt flavours of burnt toffee, caramel and some dry fruit. Good hop balance with a nice dry finish. Medium body - High carbonation makes it very quaffable despite the relatively high ABV.
