Pours a very attractive dark amber with a creamy, fading head. Sadly, there is very little on the nose. Thankfully it more than makes up for it in the mouth! Creamy, rich, but not too heavy mouth feel. The taste is vanilla, brown suger, baked apple and caramel. A very tasty drop

330ml bottle and 500ml bottle or crock. Filtered, then bottled with yeast and sugar. First brewed in 1987. Ingredients: Water, Barley malt, Hops, Yeast.

This is really a remarkable beer from the Netherlands, most of the time this kinda quality beer can only be found in Belgium. Great balance of sweet heaviness. They really came close to match some of my favorite beers like Grimbergen/Affligem. It’s not as good though, but almost perfect!

[bottle from tesco] cherry colour with medium head. caramelised banana, slight hint of pear. medium to well bodied. slightly acidic with a slightly bitter finish.

Che dire una dubble coi fiocchi!! Ambrata intensa con poca schiuma, ma molta frizzantezza, dolce al naso e al parlato, leggermente citrica e di un corpo. Nel mio caso servita un po? troppo fredda. ECCEZIONALE!

Looks very good, nice brown color. Taste was less fruity and fresh than La Trappe Quadruple but still good.

Middly coloured, really strong aroma and less strong taste but so long. So easy to find in bars and markets

A very nice Trappist,cloudy with a dark/red colour. Strong taste, but a little flat.
