Bottle, 7%, Pasteurised/Filtered Deep brown with ruby highlights, veracious carbonation and tan head. Aromas of thick sweet dark malts, with some dark stewed or dried plum and stewed rhubarb? Falvours are intense sweet light malts, with a hint of roastiness/hop bitterness midpalate. Pretty damn good really.

Deep in color and flavor, with a body on the light to medium side. Tastes of brown sugar or molasses, with maybe a hint of cherry or some other fruit lurking beneath. Tasty in a subtle way, highly enjoyable.

Dark brown colour with a slim tan head. Fruity, sweet and malty aroma. Malty, caramel and liquorice flavour, also somewhat of a medicinal taste to it. Quite highly carbonated and medium bodied

Bottle brought back from Brussels. Log cabin german raisin aroma. Looks like cherry wood with beige tufty. Raisins, cherries in flavor, full flavored, dark wood palate. Even elisa likes it. No yeast in bottle.

Dark red brown colour, thin quick fading head. Great balanced aroma with a little malt, hop and spice present. Warm, rounded taste with some caramel sweetness and malt. Clean aftertaste making it very drinkable.

Bottle form the SAQ, poured in a trappist glass. Pours a dark brown body with a medium beige head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is a mix of sweet malt, faisins, plums and caramel. Taste is malty and sweet with notes of dark fruits and cognac. Mouthfeel is too thin for the style, but this is a good to very good beer anyway.

Pours a clear amber-brown with a foamy tan head that recedes slowly and leaves some nice lacing. Very light aroma of malt, yeast and fruit, but with some weird metallic thing going on. Fortunately, that did not come through at all in the flavor. Lots of malty sweetness with friuty overtones and a bitterness at the end. Pretty good stuff.
