5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This beer is indeed brewed to commemorate the 125 anniversary of the brewery. AND is named after brother Isidorus, the first brewer of brewery "de Koningshoeven".

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from 330 ml bottle after cellaring go 27 months (yeah, it was in the back of the beer fridge).
Clear, bright chestnut-orange with considerable suspended sediment, a 2-finger yellow-khaki head that dissipated quickly, and modest lacing.
Aroma of caramel, raisins, dates, pears, peaches, plums, pumpernickel, brown sugar and plenty of yeast. The fruity aroma wafted throughout the room when I poured the beer.
Taste of peaches, dates, plums, toffee, pears, strawberries, brown sugar, green table grapes, apples, caramel and more under layers of complexity.
Medium body and low carbonization.
A very complex fruity beer that gets more and more interesting. Sit down, sip and enjoys as the layers unfold.
I would have loved to have had a fresh bottle to compare to this. I wonder how much of the complexity and mellowness are due to the long aging.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Heavily hazy amber body with an off-white head. Nose has yeast, raisins, caramel and dark sugar. Taste is sweet with a pruny twist and a short mildly dry finish. Carbonation is very lively and the palate feels strangely thin. Overall quite nice with lots of flavor and sweetness, perfect for dessert.

Koyu kahve renk kırık kahverengi köpük, köpük kalıcı olmadı. Koku topraksı ve karamel ağırlıklı. Kompleks değil ama oldukça başarılı.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Young vs. Old side by side, 2013-12:
Pleasant sweet fruity aroma. Light palate, crisp carbonation. Sweetish malts, quite caramelly, touch spicy, gentle hops in the finish. Covers the alcohol quite well, even though it’s got some headiness.
Similarly fruity, slightly sweeter, alas a bit of tomato to it. Smoother palate, softer carbonation. Sweet almondy body. Pleasantly aged influence to the malts, sweeter, and more rounded, plenty of caramel. Hops more restrained, clearly old, only some bitterness in the late finish. No alcohol at all, not even headiness.

Pours smooth, color is a reddish-brown with a cloudy look to it. I pick up a sweet note from the fruits. Taste is a yeasty dark malt with a banana, caramel finish.

Dark brown, light reddish in color. Taste is sweet, malty, with a complex spicy finish. Very aromatic, with a very smooth and excellent taste profile. Gotta have for any Belgian strong ale fan.
