750, corked and baled. Pours a cloudy dark brown with bright toffee-colored edges. Toweringly massive tan moussy suds on top. Big sweet caramel, cream, and green apple nose. Smells like a cross between a tripel and a table beer. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, green apples, and sweet cream on the mid palate. Mild sweet brown bread finish. Nice beer but not their best.

On tap at the map room; pour is murky dark golden with an off white head that retains on the average side in this tulip; eventually hazing the glass, while the lacing is fairly impressive here. The nose is sweet breads, spices, caramel, and plum skins. The flavor profile didn’t really impress me; there are some other notes present, however. There’s a certain sweetness up front, like honey, as well as the caramel. Bready malts are present, while there is also a bitterness on the finish, like port, coupled with dark fruits.
