Draft at Three Penny Taproom - Poured an orange-amber in color with a medium foamy off-white head that stuck around to produce some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is quite yeasty, fruity (dark fruits, surprisingly) and definitely Belgian. Flavor is yeasty (of course), malty and slightly sweet... a hint of burnt sugar... some fruits... raisins, prunes, etc... some spices, but not overwhelming. Very good...

Sampled at an esbls tasting. I brought it. Wood brown and murky. A small beige head. A big time fruity nose that is quite sweet. The flavor is not quite as sweet but is every bit as fruity. It is complex fruit. This is sspuper easy to drink. Some yeast and malt. The finish is a bit of chocolate and more malt. A bit boozy, too. I like this.

fles 30cl Kleur: amber helder met een flinke gebroken witte schuimkraag, redelijk stabiel. Geur: Fruit Smaak: prikkelend, bitter met een fruitige afdronk. Deze is snel verdwenen. Vrij veel koolzuur.

Draught at Ninkasi Public House Tel Aviv. Pours hazy ruby-copper with a thick white head. Fruity apple-cinnamon aroma, tart-tatain maybe? Full, rich bitter taste. Full body, bitter finish, high carbonation. Good winter ale.

Clear amber with small off-white head. Taste is overripe fruit, banana and raisins, all moderate. It’s over-carbonated and too thin-bodied. Relatively sweet as well.

Pours a dark and hazy amber color. Aromas and flavors of spices, yeast, fruit, caramel and a little bit of alcohol. Medium bodied with low carbonation and a sweet finish. A solid beer.

Just picked this up from one of my favorite beer stores. This is a beautifuly crafted beer. Has rich spiced flavor in each sip which is followed by a calming aftertaste.
