2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 worldbeertaste (1126) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2013
Pale gold with a thin, frothy, lacy, lasting off-white head. Smells of malt, cereal, grass, hops, yeast, and bread. Grainy and earthy with light citrus. Medium thin body with soft carbonation. Average sweet taste of malt with crisp pils middle and a grassy hop yeast bitter finish. Easy enough to drink but not that nice.

Very pleasantly surprised by this beer. It seems to have take Belgian Ale and Pilsner as a basis but surprises by it’s pure taste. It is very fresh en livefull hoppy, never tasted a beer brewed like thos before.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 McTapps (1492) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2013
Light milky yellow colour with low head and medium body. Nose of light IPA. Taste of light spicy hops, white pepper, coriander, IPA, thyme and grass. It starts so lovely, quaffable and delicious, but unfortunately the finish is just too thin and watery. Therefore it is more or less an below average IPA to me (where is the specaialty grain?), but just too much water.

Bottle from Carrefour in La Calamine, Belgique. Looks nice due to its hops-oriented label. Quite golden with loads of hops in the nose. Bit watery but very refreshing from first to last with some hops, citrus fruits and a bit east in the backgrond. No rocket science but a quality one.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 SperkeleForce (138) - FINLAND - APR 27, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with small white lacing head. Like an big malt bomb that goes boom, from the first sip.But pretty watery body. Notes of grass and hay. Wery light. Was expecting the great taste of beligium yeast. Little dissapointing.

On tap at the monastery. Pours a clear yellow-gold colored body with an inch thick, dense, creamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is sweet mash with a bunch of grains and a nice lemony note. A light yeasty note and a touch of spice. Flavor is similar. Sweet, bready mash with a nice lemon citrus. A light spiciness towards the end with some grains and a yeasty hint before this finishes dry and lightly bitter before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Medium-light, smooth body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid beer. Fresh mash malt flavor and a nice, clean bitterness. Not bad.
