En trivsam upplevelse. En del klassisk trappist, en del lager. På det hela taget en mild och läskande öl

Pours a clear pale yellow with a fairly large frothy white head. Aromas of rye bread, citrus, orange peel, slight mineral and asphalt notes. Taste is citrus, orange, rye bread, and some mineral tones. Mouthfeel is quite light. A bit too bland and uninspiring.

Bottle from a Maksimarket near Rakvere, Sept 2014. BB Aug 2014 - should’ve checked the date, how are they even allowed to sell this? Pours a hazy, pale orange (a bit like pear juice) with very little, off-white foam. A lot of big floaties in the bottle. Nose is Belgian yeast, dough, some vague spiciness, compote apples, hay... At first it tastes surprisingly fresh, but overall very malty and grainy, some wine-like acidity going on there; finish is dry. A rather clean taste, complimented by an active, crisp carbonation, and light to medium body. Overall okay, an easy-drinker, but forgettable. Will one day try a more fresh bottle, see if it’s better somehow.

Very light and thin beer, which makes it quite drinkable. Slightly hoppy but also very fresh and a bit citrusy.

djoeye (1535) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 14, 2014
Clear golden yellow body with a tight smooth white head on. Lacings and white ropes. Aroma; wheat, dough, coriander, fruits, clementines, spices. Taste; wheat, grass, dough, coriander, grains, spices, clementines, plums, fruitiness. Normal on palate, distinct carbonation. Fruits, plums, malts, some hops and bread in finish. Overall clean, fruity and fresh ale. [33cl brown bottle, 4.7%abv, BB10-2014]

Pours just enough head. Taste is rather weak, a hint of Belgium. Taste is OK, but lacks the strenght and powerful taste of other belgian ales. In total, a beer that is OK bur nor more.

Flaska från Systembolaget - extremt ljus men klarvit stor skumkrona. Tydliga trapist dofter men smaken är inte klassisk trapist. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sharp and strong in the flavor despite having quite a low ABV. Extremely drinkable.
