On tap at the abbey cafe during last week’s trip to Belgium. Reviewed from notes. Served in a Puur pilsner glass. Pours a clear straw color with a big sticky white head and an abundance of lacing. The nose brings forward light floral hops along with a bit of straw and grain. Flavor is a bit grainy but with a pronounced Noble hop character. Light body with crisp carbonation and moderate bitterness. Quite tasty and refreshing.

Drunk it at room temperature. Very clear with central carbonation columns. Nice frothy head, light orange-hay colour. Dry yeast-citric smell, lightly peachy. Flat pils-like taste. Dry, lightly alcoholic, bitter hoppy taste with a bitter aftertaste. Very promising on the nose but disappointing int he mouth.

Bottle @ home. Very straightforward beer. Useful, decent and indeed pure is a good name. Nothing really special, just a quality pilsener-like beer.

Pours light hazy golden with faint white head. Lemony citrus nose with spiced notes but very subtle. Refreshing spiced flavour, light sweetness, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, and some subtle sweetnes and light bitterness on the after taste. Ok.
