Light milky yellow colour with low head and medium body. Nose of light IPA. Taste of light spicy hops, white pepper, coriander, IPA, thyme and grass. It starts so lovely, quaffable and delicious, but unfortunately the finish is just too thin and watery. Therefore it is more or less an below average IPA to me (where is the specaialty grain?), but just too much water.

Bottle from Carrefour in La Calamine, Belgique. Looks nice due to its hops-oriented label. Quite golden with loads of hops in the nose. Bit watery but very refreshing from first to last with some hops, citrus fruits and a bit east in the backgrond. No rocket science but a quality one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with small white lacing head. Like an big malt bomb that goes boom, from the first sip.But pretty watery body. Notes of grass and hay. Wery light. Was expecting the great taste of beligium yeast. Little dissapointing.

Fat Tasting room vid klostret La Trappe! I denna miljö lätt att hänföras . Frisk och läskande men kanske inte så spännande men miljön...,,,,, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the monastery. Pours a clear yellow-gold colored body with an inch thick, dense, creamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is sweet mash with a bunch of grains and a nice lemony note. A light yeasty note and a touch of spice. Flavor is similar. Sweet, bready mash with a nice lemon citrus. A light spiciness towards the end with some grains and a yeasty hint before this finishes dry and lightly bitter before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Medium-light, smooth body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid beer. Fresh mash malt flavor and a nice, clean bitterness. Not bad.

Pours a golden, clear with a not long lasting white head, beer. Smells like a pilsner. A bit like weed. Hay. It taste like a pilsner. Only more flavored. Very watery and thin. Good carbo.

bottle @ la Taverna del Bucaniere. Profumo fresco erbaceo e luppolato. Sa un po’ di erba appena tagliata.colore ambrato, schiuma non molto voluminosa e poco persisternte. La carbonatazione č molto debole, il che, unito al gusto luppolato e amaricato la rende beverina. Un po’ una delusione , lo ammetto.

Although not directly belonging to a trappist style, this is a great thirstquenching beer. Yeast and hops are clearly present, appearance is a bit hazy. Short but pleasantly aftertaste. A bit of hay is present throughoit the total palate.

33cl bottle poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass. Sparkling yellow with a tiny white head. Very clean looking. Aroma is candy sugar, slight cereal grain. Flavor is the same. High carbonation, medium body. No finish. This is a very clean, easy to drink beer. There is just enough spice and hop to it not to be boring. By far, the tamest Trappist brew there is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
