Pours a medium, slightly hazy mahoghany. Rather thin head. Rich, fruity, spicy, yeasty nose, dried fruits, oak, vanilla, alcohol, earth, cane sugar. Full bodied, a bit of sweetness. Full flavoured, yeast, fruit, yeast, oak, vanilla, earth, hops, alcohol, robust. Long aftertaste, lean, warming alcohol, lingering oak. (2010-08-31)

Bottle at Max’s tasting. Amber with small head. Mild-medium ripe fruit and oak aroma. Sweet and fairly ripe fruity woody vanilla with fairly dry woody finish. Very good.

Bottle at Max’s tasting. Pours hazy amber with an off white head. Sweet and oaky aroma with malty toffee notes. The flavor has sweet malts, oak, toffee, some fruity yeasty notes, and a dark fruity sweetness. Nice.

Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured cloudy, light brown with a thick beige head. Lots malt and sugar tones. Some oak and tannins. Woodiness was smooth with nail-polish and some alcohol head.

Bottled @ UDRM. The aroma has some wood, caramel/toffee, raisin. Dark red-brown coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is sweet, has caramel and raisins, wood and vanilla. Quite siruppy and a bit alcoholic. Medium-full bodied. Nice.

Pours a hazy, pale brown colour with a thick, pillowy head. Aroma is pine, marshmallows and citrus. Flavour got lots of pine and some caramel. Finish is alcohol bitter and warming.

Oaky-wood with sweet cinamon-sugar and banana aromas. Amber-orange with off-white head that fades quickly. Fresh wood oak flavors with banana and spice tones. A great twist on this beer, it adds a nice dimension.

Bottle (375 ml) from Systmbolaget. Shady copper with creamy beige head. Nuttu maltiness with clear vanilla oak notes, a bit boozy. Well balanced, and very drinkable.
