[my 7,600th rating]
Pours hazy red-brown with a lovely, staying, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma has grapes, caramel, raisins, vinious, chocolate, figs and plums. Some oaky hints as well. Highish carbonation, light and mild creamy mouthfeel. Soft and velvety. Flavour is extremely delicious. Very balanced. White wine, oak, caramel, port, light chocolate, vinious. Balanced to almost perfection with pear, peach, grapes and lots of finishing dryness. By far the best of the oak-aged La Trappe Quads.
