Deep mahagony colored one with a small pffwhite head. Moderated aroma that opens whn the beer gets warmer. Green apples, tuttifrutti and a lot of fruits like fig and raisins, and some oak. Complex flavor, fruits again(green apples, raisins and tropical fruits), tarty character of thge oaks, bubblegum again because of the high abv. Delicious.

Bottle. 37,5 cl. Light unclear orange-reddish amber with a small off white head. Intense and sweet, slightly spicy aroma of overripe fruits, oak, concentrated caramel. Flavor is even more intense, sweet but not too sweet, toasted malty, over ripe fruity. Some alcohol cutting through. Nicely balanced.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 yngwie (10758) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 20, 2011
Bottle, 375ml corked. It pours an unclear, brown body and a dense, beige head. Vinous nose with lots of dried fruits and sugar, quite alcoholic too, in a nice way. Some oak hints. Wonderful flavor with a good warmth and a healthy dose of dried fruits. Sugar notes. Full-bodied, warming and sweet. Lasting warming finish with sugar, dried fruits and a fine bitterness. 110820
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 caesar (3943) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2011
Tap @ Beer Temple. Clear copper color, medium off-white head. Aroma of mostly fruity grapes from the white wine with a nice oaky hint on a background of biscuity and toasty malts of the base beer. Usually the taste of a quadrupel is quite sweet, but the sweetsour and dry fruityness of the white wine blends quite nicely with it. It might be a bit too much of the white wine in the way that it overpowers and overtakes the base beer, but overall I think it’s a very nice experiment. Definitely worth the try, especially if you’re into decent white wine.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JorisPPattyn (7305) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 18, 2011
Part of a comparative tasting of batches #4 and #5. Very thick, yellow-creamcoloured head, over fully hazy red-brown beer. More demure nose than the #4, but same ingredients: cocos, bit of vanilla, sweet/quite alcoholic. Little, nice, sourishness, on top of fruit, alcohol and milkchocolate. More balanced than the more severe #4, but maybe a tiny tad less complex. Thick bodied & creamy, alcoholwarming, slick. The #5 batch is very balanced, thanks a.o. to the slight, fruity acidity, but it would benefit from the incense aroma the #4 sports.
