UPDATED: MAY 6, 2015 Bottle shared at Leighton’s. It pours cloudy mahogany brown with minimal head. The nose is rich, sweet, juicy, vinous, plum, prune, date, toffee, vanilla, jammy, toasty and wood. The taste is smooth, slick, sweet fruits, plum, date, light alcohol, umami, cola cubes, wine and wood win a smooth finish. Medium-full body and soft carbonation. Nice depth. Great aroma and it drinks rather well also.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy amber with a small creamy white head. Caramel, wood, fruit and white wine. Vinous. Not THAT complex- but quite tasty!

Botella. Sweet caramel dark like fruity vinious pleasant malty aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and vinious with dark fruits, toasted malt and caramel along with white wine, sweet malty pleasant dark fruity like well alsting vinious finish.

Colour is brown, unclear. Has a white head, medium duration. Aroma is white port, vanilla, alcohol, sweet. Flavor is sweet, coco, vanilla, more port-wine, light acid, almost no bitternss. Soft. Warming alcohol.

Bottled. Pours clear, amber with a medium sized, off-white lasting head with fair lacing. Nose of fruit, caramel and yeaty notes. Sweet flavor of apples, grapes, oranges, caramel and vanilla notes. Medium to full bodied, oilt texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry with an alcohol touch. Very similar to # 2.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, candy sugar, malt, yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, candy sugar, yeast, and malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

On tap at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Poured deep, hazy light brown with little tiny head. Very smooth, vanilla flavours and aromas. Not a lot of dark fruits as in other quads. Very nice light alcoholic finish.

Draught at t’Arendsnest. Hazy red-brown coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits, liquorice and yeast. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits and spices. Sweet and spicy finish.

Bottle. Hazy amber pour, thin off-white head. Aroma is very fruity with fresh red fruits, raisins, plum. Flavor is sweet and overly fruity. No sharp edges, quite smooth brew. Nice.
