Bottle. Pours a hazy dark copper color with a off-white head. Aroma of oak, caramel, brown sugar, and dark fruit. Flavor was sweet and smooth with dried dark fruit, oak, vanilla, raisins, caramel and brown sugar. Awesome brew.

Hazy amber with a fine creamy off white head. Aroma of red grapes, berries, apples and coriander, some caramel and marcipan, light woods, light vinous tartness. Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, wood, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, wood, over ripe fruits, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry, woody, and alcoholic finish.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy deep amber with a small off-white head. Sweet oaky aroma, almost bourbony. Rich body, hardly any carbonation, a little sweet caramel and again heavy oak. Some alcohol comes through. This is quite delicious, lots of oak and not overly sticky sweet. 080512

Bottle shared at Arendsnest. Mostly clear brown pour with off white head. Aroma of banana, caramel, oak and alcohol. Sweet woody flavour with caramel, vanilla and light fruit notes. Low carbonation and medium bodied. Alcohol noticeable in the finish.
