750mL corked/caged bottle from the LCBO. Pours a beautiful dark copper amber colour, almost ruby when held up to light, with a nice medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is just outstanding, fresh yeast cake, fruity to the max and not just dark fruits, but pears and apples, alcohol, pretty much everything you can love in a Quad. The flavour is equally outstanding, waves and waves of flavour, this baby is still a little rough and fresh. Red delicious apples, pears, bubble gum, sticky sweet malts with a seriously firm back body, and a small hint of dry herbal hops. Floral, like actual flowers are in here, yet it works some how. The alcohol is so well hidden, yet at the same time you know how strong this baby is. My description does this stuff no justice. Simply fantastic, I will certainly by more of this.

Lovely deep copper pour with quickly diminishing white head. Fruity start with dried fruit and yeast leads to herbs and butterscotch and butter to finish. Light tasting but hides its strength brilliantly.

330ml Bottle - Copper brown with red tinges.Fruity aroma with raisins and marzipan also featuring. Sweetish taste which belies the strength of the beer. Raisins, malt and vanilla and marzipan feature strongly.

BrugsBierFestival - Poured a surprising clear light brown with a large lasting off white head, aroma is alcoholic, strong and winey. Sweet malty and fruity taste with a deffinate 10% kick.

Shared this with oldrtybastrd. This poured a light brown with a nice head and a sweet aroma. This is a very good beer no matter what you are looking for.

Bottle. Pours very thick orange/brown with a thick soft long lasting head. Smells very fruity, dense, and sour. Tasted way to sour and overwhelingly fruity. Raisins, plums, dark cherries, carmel, and hints of some seasoning, but not sure what. Very thick and sticky on the palate, definately have to work your way up to this beer.

I tasted this beer before I got my account with ratebeer, so I can’t really remember all the flavors.
