ekstedt (2411), Göteborg, Sweden Jul 28, 2007 Bottled at Tre små rum, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy copper, small creamy off-white head. Wonderful fruity and toffeish malt aroma, with yeast and earthy hops, and well masked alcohol. Medium bodied and very smooth. Initially mildly sweet, the finish is dry and softly bitter. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil Jul 20, 2007 Bottle. Nice amber color with creamy head. Aroma is some fruity, sweet and floral hops. Flavor is strong, a lot of alcohol in there but some caramel too. Mouthfeel is spicy and sweet. amazing!
Cerveja de cor âmbar com boa espuma. Aroma frutado, doce lúpulo floral, sabor adocicado com notas de caramelo e presença de álcool altamente perceptível. retorgosto picante e doce. Maravilhosa. Floback (333), Naples, Florida, USA Jul 20, 2007 Pours amber with 5 cm of tan head with frothy lacing. Nose is roasted malt and caramel. Taste is tanned leather, more alcohol, and caramel. Subtle, yet warming. High carbonation and full-bodied. Good glow to this beer. Very nice. Defreni (994), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 18, 2007 Flaske. Den bedste måde at beskrive denne øl på er pærevin. Måske endda pærebrændevin blandet op med vand. En umiskendelig duft af pære, og en smag af pære var dominerende i den flaske jeg fik. Udemærket øl var det dog. Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Jul 17, 2007 Red colour, firm white lasting head. Aroma: spices (coriander pepper), alcohol. Lots of alcohol flavours, only slightly hidden by lots of malts, which makes it a heavy beer. Too bad those dominant alcohol tones. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 16, 2007 Bottle from Capones, recomended by Stegosaurus. Strong aroma of yeast , wheat and malt. Fruit, banana, spice and bread flavor. Balanced well with some punch. I liked it alot !!!!! thenick (742), North Bellmore, New York, USA Jul 15, 2007 Bottle @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Poured a nice reddish-amber color with a lacy head. Aroma consisted of a strong alcohol presence with some malt and spice notes as well. The beer honestly had a taste akin to champagne, which is not exactly a bad thing. The mouthfeel is slippery, with a nice finish containing a slight hint of alcohol. Not in the league of the Belgian quads, or even some of the best American quads, but a very enjoyable beer. mugabe (215), Sweden Jul 13, 2007 Bottle at home. Pours a beautiful hazy ruby. Rather thin, creamy head. Fruity aroma of cream with plum and some almond. Sweet, well-balanced taste of spice and toffee with a hint of fruit and some alcohol warmth. Very pleasing.
