3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a medium copper color with a two finger foam that settles out fairly quickly. On the nose there is a big dose of banana bread, sweet brown sugar, light warm spice and a bit of fig too, The palate is a lot of the same and my mind keeps going back to the banana bread flavors... chewy spice with a mild yeasty backbone leads to a pretty clean focused finish. Not bad but doesn’t stand up to some other quads in its price brackett.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
75cl. bottle. Pours a murky amber color with a one-finger white head. Aroma of fruits - banana, malt and yeast. Taste is like the aroma - very malty and fruity. Full bodied. Very fresh and a good thirst-quencer considering the high - but well hidden - alcohol content...which does come out in the finish. Perfectly carbonated. Very good quad.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Copper reddish color, huge white head. Fruity aroma of banana, apples, cherry, malt, yeast, some spice and floral notes. Taste has caramel, malt, spice, some hops and fruits - mostly sweet with mildly dry bitter finish. Medium body and fizzy carbonation, hint of alcohol. Not very complex for a quadrupel, but quite enjoyable belgian ale.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Gold pour with a nice foamy head, aroma of banana, malt and wheat. Taste is of alcohol, marzipan, and malts. A very sweet beer, not much hops evident in the taste. Delicious

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Flot gylden med helt hvidt let men blivende skum. Sød krydret næse. Bitter smag vel balanceret med sødme og toner af sherry.

Bottle. Clear dark brown pour, slightly frothy head and an aroma of raisins and alcoholic plums. Flavor is also a nice meld of plums, raisins and bready & boozy on the finish. Solid quad.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Reddish brown colour, quickly disappearing head. I failed to pour mine without lots of ugly looking particles. Aroma is very surprising: of raspberry syrup or of strawberry. Also some honey, caramel. Quite much alcohol, but it’s not unpleasant. Medium sweetness. Good, but lacks the wow factor.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml. corked bottle. Tasted in a La Trappe glass, pours a small head that fades soon, but leaves a good lace. Smell of earth, barn, dark fruits, caramel, spices, raisins. Full body, sticky and oily. Taste of dark fruits, caramel, spices, raisins, some liquorice, dates. Alcohol is well hidde. Great.
