cloudy dark orange with beige head, the aroma is of sweet fruit. malty and alcoholic, the flavor is straightforward: toffee, sweet, yeasty, and slightly spicy. thick.

Pours a mahogany colored body and an insanely fluffy ivory head.
An orchard of Fruity notes.. filled with plums, apricots, peaches, apples, and oranges. I thought this would be darker bodied than the Double but it’s not. This is like a cross between a Triple and a Double. Extremely fruity and yeasty.. some sweet and toasty notes of molasses along side.
This is really damn good! The palate is exceptionally velvety and luscious. I’m surprised how citrusy and sweet this Quad is…. Notes of caramelized sugars, banana and even some ginger in the finish…. Halliluja!!!!<b/>

Pours a hazy mahogany with a fluffy yellowish head that collapsed quickly. Alcohol is immediately evident in the aroma, followed by fruity and bready fragrances that are quite inviting. Medium body that is quite rich with a mouth coating feel. Complex flavors that start off sweet with dark brown suger, sweet dark fruit, and followed by the alcohol and then some spicy flavors. Finish is somewhat sweet, with a lingering stickiness, and just the slightest amount of bitterness.

had this in a bottle in amsterdam at amendnest. huge nose on this thing....most noteable was sweet molasses, maple, bourbon, dark fruit and maybe some alcohol. nice fig and roasted choc malts push a warm alcohol feel. pretty big beer and definately the nicest of the la trappe products.

Awseome, sugary, rock candy aroma! Sticky mouthfeel. Syrupy and sweet followed by some bitterness to end. Radiant amber-orange colour. I like.

Very unimpressive. Flavors were very subdued and almost watery. Somewhat spicy/fruity aroma. This beer reminded me of drinking apple juice when i was a kid... watered down apple juice.
