| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 5, 2005 33 cl bottle. Amber color with a rich tan head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aromas of green apples, caramel and dried fruits. Taste is really complex. Taste starts of on the sweet side with malts and chocolate before the high alcohol gives way to figs, rum, banana and clove. Medium bodied and really good. mdi (573), Nebraska, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 10, 2005 Lable as Koningshoeven. 75cl bottle. Some loose floaters, a few chunky lazy bubbles jumping...amber/brown...no real head, but some clinging lace. Aroma slight moist cork.musty, definite plum, raisin, grape, leather, slight alcohol behind it, but pleasing overall. Full, sweet body w/o obvious thickness...lingering...Flavor is set off by the sweet finish, and highlighted by the dark fruits & alcohol...madeira to an extent...complex sweetness a bit of clove and vanilla begins to come out in the nose now...and the sweetness is just right...not too much or too thick. Excellant beer. Late night sipper, elegant. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 8, 2005 Pours deep amber, with slight but beautiful bubbling and a thick tan head that laces beautifully. Nose is sharp apple and citrus fruits with a fun caramel overtone. The flavor is complicated yeasts and creamy caramel, with more bitter grapefruit, as well as pear, apple, and dates. There is a slight smokiness to the finish. Alcohol is powerful and pervasive throughout, but not in an unpleasant way. This is good. 2philosophers (16), Ridgewood, New York, USA

Pours deep brown, foamy white head. This is a smooth, somewhat mild quad; not particularly alcoholic in flavor. Caramel notes. Delicious. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2005 Wow. A Tilburger! I didn’t know. I’ve got a special place in my heart for this now. Plus, this is great beer. Sweet green apple orchard on the nose. Big head and pours red brown. Tastes of alcohol, malt, and that delicious apple. Medium finish with some malt showing through. Thoroughly enjoyable. There is a reason the quadrupel style rules the ratings. renffisch (521), london, Greater London, England
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 11, 2008 330ml bottle at Biergasthof Schiffner. Pours a deep ruby colour with a fine lacy head. Smells quite funky and definitely of "UHU Alleskleber" and fermented, sour hay. Still funky and a bit gluey in taste , but mixed with all sorts of gooey boiled sweet fruit. Well balaanced. delicious stuff.
