UPDATED: FEB 14, 2011 Bottle. Hazy orange with a big good looking bright beige head. Aroma is yeasty and sweet with notes of dried fruit, pomerans, clove, some almond paste and spice. Taste is thick and candyish yeasty sweet with citrus, fermented apples, coriander and spice. Sweet, yeasty, acidic and spicy without much bitterness. Body is first sweet and big just to falter a bit towards the end. Carbonation is quite smooth and tickeling. On the sweet side but still nice and tasty.

Bottle 33cl. Orange-yellow, Cloudy brew with small and quickly disappearing head. Sweet malts, hops and coriander in the nose. A little bit sticky and sweetish in the aftertaste, but this hides alcohol very well. A very good brew but i like the harshness and roughness of Westmalle more.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with an average, frothy cream colored head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cookie, caramel, toast), light hops (spicy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of pepper, peach, and brown sugar. Flavor is heavy malt (bread, cookie, caramel, toast), average hops (spicy), and average esters (apple/pear) with notes of pepper, peach, alcohol, wood, and brown sugar. Full body, moderate warmth and carbonation, light creaminess with a dry and biting finish.

Pours a deep orange with a khaki head that quickly collars with not much else. Lively bubbles keep the appearance interesting. Great aroma of prune, dark, dried fruit. Very complex fruit. Malts are a little subdued. Full covering mouthfeel. Sweetness on the finish, which is a little short.

Orange coloured . Small head. Smell is ok, sweetness, fruits, caramel, spices. Taste is pretty full, decent, sweet and spiced, some cookies, yeast. Expected less. It’s not a top-beer, and a bit out of the line with the other trippel trappist beers. But that makes it a bit interesting. Drinkeable but a bit plain.

Bottle: Nice vast off white foamy head. Hazy dark orange amber color. Smell fruits (orange and red fruit), sweet malts, hint of hops. Taste light fruity and hoppy with balanced bitterness and sweet dryness. Taste fruit, hops, bitter, light sweets and spices. Taste no alcohol. Well balanced: low carbo and long fruity dry bitter aftertaste.
