"A special and strong Trappist ale. The use of coriander gives it a spicy character. Golden in colour with a fruity, bittersweet taste.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast; Coriander

Amber, translucent, some light bubbles. Smells of dried apricot, orange peel, and citrus. Taste is blood orange, caramel, oranges. Palate is almost cloying. The finish is pretty intense -- swells quite a bit on the back/mid part of the tongue and the relaxes. Perhaps my least favorite beer of the night.

bottle. Starts off nice with a malty flavor and some bitterness, soon to be followed by very dominant banana sweetness. Not my favorite tripel.

Quite a lot of banana, sweet malts, quite heavy smelling. Decent head on pour, nice lacing, orangy dark. Nice sweet taste but just a bit flat. Nice foamy yeast flavour, very sweet. Quite plesent, it’s just a bit too flat before the yeast comes on.

330 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Poured in Westmalle Trappist glass. White, frothy head. Appearance is hazy and golden . Head settles fast. Aroma is sweet malts, raisins, some caramel, belgian yeast and a little hops. Taste is sweet and quite sour. Some alcohol, definitely. Full body with a lively feel to it. Also a bit thick. Really good beer, but nothing really special compared to other Trappists.

330mL bottle, pours dark orange with a medium white head. Sweet aroma of apples, oranges, raisins, and some hops. Flavour of candied sugar, burnt sugar, sweet fruits and yeast. A bit too sweet, but a nice one.

330 ml bottle @ Ravintola Gloria, Kuopio. Rated @ 7.6.2009.
Pours a deep orange colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of fruits, raisin and mild hops. Flavour of sweet fruits, alcohol and light sourness. Medium bodied and thick mouthfeel. Pleasant brew.

9/25/10. Hazy deep red/orange pour with a small khaki white head that fades to a film fast. Light fruity bubblegum aroma with a definite hot spicy kick from the yeast and alcohol. Sweet caramelly flavor, hints of burnt sugar and dark candi sugar, with a touch of roasted malts and yeast. Nicely clean and tasty.
