"A special and strong Trappist ale. The use of coriander gives it a spicy character. Golden in colour with a fruity, bittersweet taste.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast; Coriander

Bottle, 330ml. Pours a rich maple colour with a mediun off-white head and great lacing. Smells like caramel and citrics. You can really taste the sweetness and trademark bitterness. A formidable beer.

bottle. Deep golden colour, persisitent off-white head. Malty-fruity-spicy nose. Full-bodied, malty base with lots of spices, also honey and berries. Aromatic hops blend in towards the lingering finish.

Draft @ ’t arendsnest. Pours really dark and brown for the style. Looks like a dubbel. Aroma is yeasty and slightly brown sugary with stone fruit and some vanilla. Flavor is the dark malts, sweet, not roasted, with touches of fig, raisin and a slight vinous character that was interesting if a bit outof place. A solid brew, this.

Bottle. Not quite what I was expecting from a triple, pretty murky dark pour. Aroma is all berries especially something on the blueberry/blackberry side sweet and just a touch acidic. Taste is sweet and all berries again, good job at getting balance though, no acidity comes out. Palate is above average with good carbonation but not too aggressive like tripels tend to get. Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Moderate aromas all around, with grain and caramel for the malt, orange for the hops, dough for the yeast, and background notes of raisin, peach, chardonnay wine, brown sugar, and somehow a hint of the seashore. Head is average size, fizzy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy orange/tan with a thick amount if medium sized particles. Flavor starts moderately sweet and acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily and has a lively carbonation. Filled with a huge array of aromas, and a perfect balance between all of the constitiuents of this Tripel makes this one of the best I’ve tried.

nice waft of resin and dough from the deep brown ale with a rich white head. flavours mix nicely on the tounge, with hints of fruit floating around the palate. but it feels too safe, hinting at what a good trappist ale should be without going there itself. Middle of the range, but perhaps a good ale to introduce someone to belgian ales?
