Bottle @ Stone World Bistro in Escondido. Color was a rusty orange with a thin off white head that vanished quikly. Nose was very fruity with some banana, nutmeg and clove spices. Beer was very fruity in taste and had a bittersweet finish.

750ml bottle. I had to use a corkscrew to get the cork out. It would not budge othewiser. Poured into a very large brandy snifter. Color was a nice translucent light carmel color. Not much of a head. Smells of banana and malt. heavy malty flavor and sticky feel on the palate. Im pretty buzzed from just half the bottle, but surprisingly the alcohol taste is not strong. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a deep hazy honey color with a lacey frothy head. Aroma of fruit(banana and mild citrus) and a little spice. Flavor begins sweet honeylike, but there is a subtle spiciness that rests just under the surface. There is a fruitiness in there also, but not as much as many other Belgians, pretty subdued. While there isn’t anything wrong with the flavor, it is a bit too sweet and malty and not quite spicy enough for my tastes. the spice that is there does give it a nice dryness trying to counter the sweetness at the finish, but a just too little too late for me.

the first aroma is poorly excuted with hardly any discering flavors. although it looks good, there is no outstanding flavors that would makes universalling appealing. very fizzy and hides the alcohol well

0.75 l bottle opened with big pop. Poured bit murky lighter orange body with big ebony head. Very nice, sweetish aroma of banana, orange, with some spicy fruits. Other component include some caramel malt and at last, typical Belgian yeast. Flavor is quite bitter, even for the tripel, but also sweet on the other hand. Fruity, as in aroma, full bodied and quite nice. Moderate carbonation. Finish is quite long, bitter. Very nice beer all in all, although I had better triples.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge, dense and light orange head. Classic caramel malt and mellow yeasty spice note, in addition there is a mild orange peel note. Flavour starts with a soft caramel and sweet malt flavour. A mellow yeast note appears which takes some fruity and spiced notes into the finish. Soft finish leaving the impression of a smooth triple, a bit dull compared to other examples within the style.

Bottle poured into La Trappe trappist glass. Very nice tripel. Hazy amber/tan colour that had a well balanced aroma of sweetness and spice that carried into the flavour.
