"A special and strong Trappist ale. The use of coriander gives it a spicy character. Golden in colour with a fruity, bittersweet taste.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast; Coriander

750 ml bottle. Really warm fruit taste with thick white foam and golden colour. Pretty bitter as most beers of that kind but enjoyable.

It poured a hazy golden liquid with a big bubbly foam which left some nice lacing. Smelled of warm alcohol and dried fruit. My first reaction when I tasted it was that it tickled the top of my mouth it also left an oily sensation. It was a bit sweet with hints of bread and dried fruit.

330ml bottle. Nice head of creamy foam that hangs around. Dark ruby copper in colour with an aroma of fruit and caramel.

Bottle: Flavors come through a bit more reserved as compared to the aroma. Notes of yeasty fresh bread, caramel, nutmeg, banana, orange zest and ripe apple come through. In the end with 1 of 7 trappist in the world I would put this one #2 of the Trappist

Label changed slightly. This was actually inexpensive. Nice deep caramel brown in color. Nice thin head that sits on top and doesn’t fade away. Glad I picked this up because it looks great. Smell is of malt and yeast. I don’t get that deep yeast aroma that I would like to smell, or even that fruity yeast aroma, if you will. Leans more towards the malt aroma. Very much a caramel malt taste. Doesn’t really have too many nuances in the flavor. Yeast comes out slightly in the taste, but too muted for a tripel. Not as carbonated as I thought it would be. It is actually very smooth. Yeast comes out a lot more when this beer warms up. Overall, decent beer, not very complex in the taste, but overall I like it.

OnTap Looks kinda dark for a tripel, its a hazy orange with a big fluffy head. Aroma of citrus, and yeasts, with a touch of hops. Flavor is very smooth for a tripel. This is dangerously easy drinking for a beer of 8%. Sweet aftertase, a nice overall beer.
