La Trappe Tripel

I’m with Chuck on this one. This beer is not good. The beer pours to a deep caramel apple colored body that’s hazy. A thin white head on top. The aroma is yellow apple skins and yeast. Very strange. The flavor is yellow apple skins and a very strange yeast. I’ve never tasted/smelled anything like this. The palate is sweet, well carbonated, moderately full bodied.

A light orangish/brown pour with a large white head that fades quickly. A brown sugar aroma mixed with yeast and a touch of the 8% as well. A flavor of fruit. It reminds me not in a bad way of apple cider that had gone hard. A nice soft mouthfeel and full palate. A beer I enjoyed very much.

A nice tripel. Aroma is light fruits, sweet and spicy, peppery with a nice floral scent. Appearance is a deep golden orange in color, huge amounts of head. Mouthfeel was a little too harsh and thin for my liking. Flavor is sweet malts, light fruits with an alcoholic kick.

murky cloudy off brown color w/ a small light off tan head w/ some decent lacing. Extremly overripe fruit scents some plums and spoiled apple skin tons of candied sugars, oversweet. Palate is lightly fizzy fairly full bodied. Flavor is bad carmel and rotten fruits w/ some candied sugars. Never again.

A delight! Intense coloration. Dense and persistent cream. Weak, but aromatic. In the palate, present flavor of red fruits and banana. Incredible aftertaste, candy and fruity, perhaps optimum of this blond one. Good carbonation. The alcohol is a little strong excessively, but it does not confuse the set.....................................PORTUGUÊS: Uma delícia! Coloração avermelhada intensa. Creme denso e persistente. Aroma fraco, mas marcante. No paladar, sabor presente de frutas vermelhas e banana. Retrogosto incrível, doce e frutado, talvez o melhor dessa loira. Carbonatação bacana. O álcool é um pouco forte demais, mas não atrapalha o conjunto.

Álcool muito presente. Carbonatação que me incomodou um pouco. Levemente amarga. Pouco creme, tendo se perdido logo no início. Aroma fraco. Cor bonita (avermelhada). Faltou um melhor balanceamento na sua composição e também uma certa personalidade.

Amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Yeasty, sweet caramel aroma with raisins. Fruity flavour with hints of raisins, licorace and sourness. Dry long fruitish aftertaste. Smooth palate.

Pours a honey color with a thin tan head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Tastes sweet. Light carbonation a little bitter and slightly spicy.
