fonefan (10859), VestJylland, Denmark Sep 28, 2006 Bottle. Dark golden with a large white head. Very sweet, spicy fruit aroma. Taste is bitter-sweet, peachy fruit. Coriander listed in ingredients: not sure. A persistent bitter aftertaste. OleR (2007), Oslo, Norway Sep 24, 2006 Updated: Jul 29, 2007On tap @ In De Wildeman, Amsterdam.
Light brown body with off-white quickly disappearing head. Caramel and fruit aroma. Taste is candysugar-sweet with malts and alcohol. Quite light mouthfeel. Finish is short and dry. Nice but too straightforward and plain for a tripel. . . . . . . . .

cathcacr (584), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 18, 2006 Holy dogshit, Belgium! Only God-fearers and great beers come from Belgium, and this doesn’t look like a God-fearer to me, so that kind of narrows it down.
Now this is a Tripel as our poetic-metaphorical God wanted it to be brewed. Amazing stuff.
Cloudy, deep-gold/orange appearance, lasting froth, gooey candy aroma, a flavor that defines the essence of Tripel goodness, soft and gooey, goes down like liquid butter it’s so smooth. This is a new Ultimate beer for me. How does it get any better for this most wonderful style?
anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Sep 17, 2006 Draught. Keg from 2005. Clear amber colour with a nice longlasting white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of dry fruits and some earthy dusty hints. Sweet malty flavor with hints of caramel and dark fruits. Also hints of alcohol. Mlaty warming finish. Tranquillity (1164), Espoo, Finland Sep 15, 2006 Dark plum colour, thick white long-lasting foam. Aroma of ripe fruits, grape, apple. Bittersweet flavour, figs and chocolate in the aftertaste. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Sep 14, 2006 nice caramel color, nice fruity taste to it, all around good beer to drink with fine blue cheese and paté de foie gras. Not the best, but definatly one to try with the hole collection, the third of four.
bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Sep 12, 2006 On tap at Ølbaren (2005). Pours dark golden in colour with a large head. Malty and sweet with notes of caramel. A bit too alcoholic and sweet for me. Tmoney99 (4638), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 8, 2006 Bottle from Koningshoeven 4 pack. Poured a cloudy light brown with an average fizzy off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate toasted caramel malty, tart citrus and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of long duration.
