50 cl bottle, at my «Hopheads» tasting. Amber color, white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is the same. Watery and without carbonation. Too old? Dry finish.

weighted golden with thick, unmoving bright white head. carbonation is the only thing stirring up the suspended goodness in the glass. aromas of orange and dry malt, but faint. sweet maple syrup, orange blossom base, soft herbal floral hop notes and everything blends to a tropical finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 larsga (4435) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 13, 2008
Huge offwhite lasting head. Slightly hazy deep orange body. Intense spicy banana aroma with fruity notes and licorice. Sweet fruity licorice taste, slightly stale. Sharpish mouthfeel. Some alcohol heat. Milky tobacco notes with some chalk and ash. Maybe a bit old, or poorly stored? Good, but disappointing. (0.33l bottle from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. BBD 2010-04. Wonder if this shop really treats its beers well.)

Orange with a fine head. Fruity aroma with strong notes of yeast. The flavour is dominated by spice, apple, citric fruits, alcohol, sugar and yeast.

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy amber body with average carbonation and a thin off-white foamy head. Very enjoyable malty/hoppy aroma with various fruity hints. Its hoppy taste is well balanced and carries sweet, plummy, and oaky notes. It ends with a long and warming bittersweet finish. Good Tripel.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 webjedi (250) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - APR 7, 2008
Nice, not as dry but more caramel and older apple. Pours a ruddy orange with a medium to small head. Much more yeasty and flat on the tongue than the dubbel and blonde. Tart but not sharp, more mellow and defined. Generally pleasant, good drinking tripel, but not a honed in taste as others I’ve tried. (Bottle Pour 4/2/2008)

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2009 the dryest tripel ive ever had, quite phenolic as well. . extremely fruity as well and hides the booze painstakingly. sweet but without overdoing it. nice and carbonated, which like the dryness is another saison quality.

Pours an orange/brown with a slight tan head. Nose is like red wine with notes of apple. Taste is of apple with notes of toffee and malt. Malty, wet, fruity finish with a very slight bitterness. A nice example of a Tripel.
