3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RagallachMC (631) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2007
750ml bottle. Aroma: Yeast, light grape and spice. A strong sweetness throughout. Alcohol comes forward as it warms. Appearance: Deep golden/amber in color and murky. White head was full and frothy with good retention. Good lacing. Flavor: The sweetness really hits me first and lingers. Caramel, yeast, apples, spice, and alcohol. Palate: Medium-full bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Light alcohol warming in back of mouth. Overall: Too sweet for me. Flavors were nice, but it just didn’t work for me.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jetzler (622) - oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 1, 2007
Bottle, aroma, very yeasty, quickly dissapating head. Malty alcohol is only noticible as it warms, not as a fruity as the nose is which in my opinion is a plus, as I prefer a drier triple. This one is a bit sweet but not to sweet. It a Ok triple.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 patrick767 (2772) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 24, 2007
bottle - Pours cloudy amber with a substantial head and a sweet, yeasty aroma. It’s lively on the palate and sweet in flavor with the yeast apparent and not much alcohol noticeable. It struck me as oddly thin for a tripel, which was the main negative point. This beer is a good one, but I’ve definitely had better tripels.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 drfabulous (2140) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - OCT 21, 2007
Heavier than most tripels. Sweet taste to it. Malty. Not exactly what I want in a tripel, but nice.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 RSRIZZO (1634) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - OCT 10, 2007
Had this beer on 5/5/2007. Aroma is light with a faint hop nose. Carbonation is very good with a nice tight head. Color is a deep golden Taste is rich and creamy. Starting with a full body it goes down easy with a smooth/fizzy feel that makes it come across creamy. Finish comes in easy with a nice yet rich malty flavor that is backed with a yeast flavor that has mellow fruit tones and mild hop spice and even bitterness. This is a well balanced all the way around and is one of the best Trappist brews I have had.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Gr0ve (1756) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 10, 2007
330 ml bottle. Dark amber colour. A bit cloudy and full of small yeast particles as I managed to pour the yeast into the glass. Medium-sized coarse offwhite head. Light soapy aroma with notes of caramel and yeast. Gentle neutral hops. High carbonation level. Malty flavours, but the body is rather thin. Noticeable alcohol content. Metallic aftertaste with water and light hop bitterness and a little caramel. Lacks a little character and is a little too thin to my taste.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 DownsouthGav (601) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2007
Nose of summer fruits - apples and pears with caramel, sugar and yeast hints. Pours a golden yellow beer slightly opaque. Head is off-white and firm. Taste is malty with sweetness dominating the palate and a nice balance of hops. A vinuous aftertaste lingers. Great.

Bottle @ Gollem, Amsterdam. Deep golden orange color. Little head. Sweet aroma with almost wine like characteristics. Sweetness in just right. Could use a little more of that tripel spiciness. Good creamy mouthfeel. Well done.
