COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. This ale owes its crisp and spicy character to the use of coriander and other spices and herbs, as well as to post-fermentation in the bottle. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast; Coriander. 17.5°

Hazy amber color, thin white head. Medium body, sparkly carbonation. Aroma is malts, honey, spices, banana. Taste is medium sweet, kinda syrupy. No bitterness. Not the best tripel.

0,33L bottle, BB 07.2015. Pours hazy golden-amber with huge white head. The head stays, nice lacing. Aroma is very fruity, coriander, spices, yeast, fresh apples and some sweetness. Taste: sweetness, some hop bitterness and spices, very fruity, maybe even a little bit creamy. Finish is dry and alcohol becomes more noticeable, but not distracting. Overall: really nice fruity beer.

Min första trapist och jag gillar det. Ljus öl med mycket smak. Maltig och lagom besk. Trevlig ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Caramel color pouring with a large, foamy white head. Very fruity aroma with some alcohol with some yeast and bread mixed in. Taste is all caramel and a bit sweet. Burns on the way down and has a alcohol and caramel aftertaste and a foamy mouthfeel and finish. I don’t see what anyone else does in this beer. It’s, alchy, caramel, sweet, foamy, burns and all around unenjoyable.

Pours a cloudy orange. Strong smell of bananas, yeast, and spices. Taste is fruity and caramel.

Fruiter than some of it’s trappist counterparts but still maintaining some of the more traditional spicy aromas.

Hazy pale yellow to orange colour body. Thin white head. Toast, coriander, spice, banana and some caramel. Taste is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Texture is towards oily, with some strong carbonation.

330ml bottle shared with jeevan. Pours hazy pale yellow, thick white head. Aromas of banana, spice, straw. Taste has bread, some fruit. Yeasty at the end, thin finish. Good.

Cloudy. Yellow color. Creamy white head. Lots of bubbles. Big aroma, fruity with banana and yeast. Full bodied. Not that sweet and not that much bitterness.

Cloudy orange color with quickly vanishing head. Aroma of butter, fruit but also a bit stale. Taste like a traditional triple.
