Cloudy golden orange with ok head.fruits,caramel,citrus,spuce.sweet,metallic,va bitter.

(Bottle 01/08-2011) Very low head, yellow color, old beer aroma and taste. BB date 07/2011. Re-rate.

Unaufdringlicher fruchtiger Geruch. Im Antrunk fruchtig-würzig. Die Mitte steigert die Würze und ergänzt das Aromenbild um eine trockene Malzigkeit. Das Bier endet in einem herb-würzigen und süßlich angehauchtem Abschied. Kräftig. Hat Qualitäten.Test vom 6.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Pours dark yellow with a medium head. Aroma is malts and yeast, flavor pretty much the same. No alcohol taste. Quite nice.

Just not my type of Belgian, as this one seems somewhat bland. It’s dry, and without much in the way of interesting flavor coming through. If you want a dry triple, with only very subtle flavors coming through, this might be fine. Just not for me.

Nice tripel from brewery De Koningshoeven which is very nearby for me. Nothing really stands out in this beer. Just a decent, little bit above average tripel that’s worth a try.
