La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

Beautiful Trappist beer. I think La Trappe has beaten Rochefort as my favorite. Went to the brewery today, so much atmosphere. Back to the beer. Beautiful clear golden/orange. There isn’t much foam, after a few minutes a thin cover of soft foam covers the beer. The flavor is divine. Little sweet in balance with a little bitterness and a touch of sour. The beer is quite sparkly. The aftertaste is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The delicious aroma’s stay in your mouth for minutes.

2011possible bottling date. Golden color, clear, with a white head. Aromas of candied fruits, sugar and caramel. Taste is mildly sweet, caramel, dried fruits, honey, Belgian sugar, some.spiciness and Belgian yeast. Aftertaste is medium, both in intensity and duration. Medium body with medium carbonation.

Âmbar, boa formação e persistência de espuma, turva. Aroma bastante condimentado, e cítrico, compota de cítricos, laranja, casca de pão escuro. Aroma idem. Boa carbonatação, corpo médio-alto. Amargor médio-baixo. Aftertaste aquecedor, baste persistente. Boa cerveja. Tripel bem condimentada.

Bottle at home. Cloudy orange colour, white foamy head. Typical La Trappe yeast character in the nose and taste with banana, vanilla, spices and light bitterness, good grainy and creamy malts, quite boozy. Dry and fruity sweet finish. Good body, relatively high carbonated, soft mouthfeel. Classic Trappist tripel.

Rated from beer log from 2009 Belgian Trip.... Pours golden in color with generous foamy white head... Gentle citrus aroma with hints of hops, flavor is slightly bitter and less sweet and balanced compared to other tripels I’ve had, but it finishes nicely with minimal bitterness on palate... Alcohol content not terribly well concealed and I thought it had more than the 8% written on the bottle... Otherwise pretty average for a tripel, prefer their quad

Light tan pour, small off white head. Nose is alcohol, whiff of hard fruit, and grain. Bittersweet. Middle is pears, melon, and a soft grain profile. Finish is dry.

Flaska.

W aromacie całe bogactwo owocowych estrów (zwłaszcza morele i brzoskwinie) i belgijskich drożdży.
