"A special and strong Trappist ale. The use of coriander gives it a spicy character. Golden in colour with a fruity, bittersweet taste.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast; Coriander

On tap in Ciampino, Italy at Seigradi. Pretty much same as the Double. Pours a cloudy dark amber light brown with a nice off white head. Aroma of fruits, caramel, sweetness, and malt. Taste of fruits, sugar, and yeast. Palate is bland cardboard. I could have done without this one.

Bottle, pours a bit of head not too foamy. At cold temps it is pretty harsh to drink, as it cooled down it got much better, it was very nice to drink at a cooler temp, good offering

Very tasty! Nice aromas of breaded malts, also some earthy yeast. Pours and orangey dark with a small head that stays. Medium to heavy sweet taste. Creamy mouthfeel with reasonably low carbonation. Overall a top notch brew!

Buona!

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2011 750ml at the bayou. Pours a clear brown color with a medium white head. A high and smooth carbonation. A sweet nutty fruity malt nose. Rich caramel, heat, dusty, nutty, rich well made, berries.Very smooth despite the hefty ABV. Nice.

Large cork top bottle shared with a friend. Poured large thick head. Light hazy yellow. Very floral. Kind of flat yeasty taste. I didn’t really taste any alcohol at all. Very nice

33 cL bottle into a goblet glass. Orange amber beer with a feisty head. Yeast, trappist aroma, very Westmalle. Very mild (for an 8% beer), but with a sharp taste to it as well. Tastes a bit yeasty, a little malty and a touch estery. Its quite reasonable but ultimately a little boring.
