Bottle conditioned.
La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

Bottle. Pour an maber-like body, with a huge white head that diminishes fairly slowly, but stays until I finish my glass. Aroma dominated by yeast, some malts too, but nothing too special. Very nice medium bitter taste, with notes of malt. A little bit alcoholic as the beer gets warmer, but the beer hides the alcohol very well, quite warming. Heavy bitter finish. Oily texture, medium body, medium carbonation. Very nice.

Simply The Best. I sentori fruttati all’olfatto trovano giusto riscontro nel sapore nonostante il forte sentore alcolico

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy orange body with a thin off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of biscuit, herbs and bread. Flavour of spice, caramel and coriander. Medium bosy with a fizzy, frothy mouthfeel. Quite dark and sweet for a Tripel.

Poured into a snifter. 3.25 A: Moderately hazed orange brown color. Two fingers of foamy white head. Retention is a touch below average and not really any lacing is left. 4.0 S: Lots of clove from the start with peppery spiciness underneath. Lots of fruits with banana leading the way, then peach and lemon. Surprisingly clean with just a touch of bready yeastiness. Grassy hops. 4.5 T: Tastes even better than it smells. Clove and banana are most potent again. Peach, lemon, apple fruits. Peppery with again just a touch of breadiness. Grassy and earthy hops. 4.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Pleasantly spritzy with a tingly finish. 4.5 D: Very good beer. Complex with focus. ★ 721 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 24, 2015

Golden/light orange, minimal white head. Aroma has caramel sweetness, yeast and spiciness. Taste is caramel sweet with yeast, spiciness, banana esters, marked bitterness and slight alcohol. Medium body, high but soft carbonation, dry mouth feel. Short bitter after taste.

Kaum bitter

Kolor : Złoty. Zamglony.
Piana: Skromna, lekka, sycząca i w mgnieniu oka opadająca. Jest tak wątła, że trudną ją zbadać. Biała, drobna ze średnim lacingiem.
Zapach: Typowo belgijskie nuty zapachowe.
Smak: Klasyk można by rzec. Alkohol wyczuwalny, rozgrzewa. Piwo średniotreściwe i musujące na języku.
Wysycenie: Średnie do wysokiego.
Podsumowanie:
Klasyk i klasa sama w sobie. Dobra, solidna pozycja.
