Malt and some spice aromas. Amber coloured smooth on the palate floral and yeasty with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy amber colour with a big creamy mostly lasting off-white head. sweet aroma of honey, caramel, toasted malt spices and alcohol. The flavour is sweet with honey and caramel, toasted malt, some dark fruits, spices, some oak and alcohol. Sweet spiced finish.

Bottle. Pours a lovely slight hazy orange. Head is made up of lots of small milky white bubbles with a distinct creaminess on the top - a little lacing. Aroma is nice and fruity. A milky feel blending with a yeasty edge. Very full mouthfeel, very creamy for the style. Flavour is very complex. Begins with a powerful vinious edge, then a general sweetness comes through. It blends a nice spicyness with the malty sweetness and a tone of alcohol. Apples, berries, plums, raisins and a touch of oranges. Great!

cloudy dark orange, thick offwhite head.
fruity, slight spicy, vey dry aroma, also some well hidden honey like sweetness.
flavor is sweet, yellow fruits, some bitterness where alc. plays a part, ends dry and bitter, with a sweet base. nice tripel.

Nice, silky smooth and creamy head. The aroma is fruity, hoppy. Flavour, well I admit that La Trappe has a very, special place in my heart, I simply like their beers!! I find notes of candy sugar, ripe fruits and a nice bitterness - overall a nice tripel.

Amber with a bubbly, shortlived head. Fruity aroma, orange, raisin, banana and spices. Aftertaste is a strange combination of banana and mint...
Well balanced sweetness and bitterness.

Bottle. Nice big head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma is fruit, yeast and malt. Taste is nice and complex with fruit and spices.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2011 Hoppy and malty aroma and taste. Sweetish with caramel and alcohol present in the taste.
Bottle, best until 5/09, tasted april 2011. Chunks of yeast, amber color. Surprisingly lacking in aroma. Sherry and tangerine in the sweet flavor. Apple. This beer doesn’t age too well IMO.
