Compact and creamy head, optimal resistance. Nice intense orange, copper color with clear glares; much fraught and hazy with discreet fizz. Rich and alcoholic scent, many pleasant notes of plum, stum, ferment and withered grape. Violent, round, extremely alcoholic and liqueury taste with determined and sweet body.

Feb 17, 2003 My last beer of the 2K3 blizzard. Small head, golden copper color, banana aroma and (yeast) flavor. Nice beer to have after shovelling 20" of snow for an hour and a half.

Apr 15, 2008 weighted golden with thick, unmoving bright white head. carbonation is the only thing stirring up the suspended goodness in the glass. aromas of orange and dry malt, but faint. sweet maple syrup, orange blossom base, soft herbal floral hop notes and everything blends to a tropical finish.

Aug 24, 2006 Shiny golden with a big cap of butter colored head. Bright rum vapors--spicy and restless, a layer of warm, melanoiden rich malt, and green plums to round out the aroma. Lively carbonation and a fruity sweetness, a touch of tartness, and a clean dry finish. A well executed tripel!
