"A special and strong Trappist ale. The use of coriander gives it a spicy character. Golden in colour with a fruity, bittersweet taste.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast; Coriander

Bottle 0,3ltr: Orange coloured tripel with an not so sweet attitude, one of the better Tripels in the Netherlands.

Flaske. EN forholdsvis skuffende trippel. En klassisk duft og smag af pære som nok er La Trappes varemærke. Samt en lidt mørkere farve end normale trippels.

Bottle. Deep amber colored and fairly clear. Decent enough white head forms and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is corky with hints of grape. Active and pleasant carbonation. Light bodied. Flavors of grape, alcohol, cork and an underlaying sourness that never really becomes annoying and actually makes things interesting. Tasty.

Pours a firey apricot color w/ a full, semi creamy froth. Great head retention finally reducing to a full, thick canopy. Aroma of granite and dried bananas, peach, and citrus. Full nectar w/ ample residual effers. Mildly sweet w/ strong flavors. Malty w/ a persistant peach pit bittering from start to finish. Secondary favors of dried apricot, peach, banana cream, vanilla bean, and candy rocks. As she warms a little honeycomb comes through. The finish is bittered perfectly leaving some lingering malt complexities. Overall: a stronger flavored brew w/ perfect Tripel character and a mild sweetness.

330 ml bottle. Dark amber colour. A bit cloudy and full of small yeast particles as I managed to pour the yeast into the glass. Medium-sized coarse offwhite head. Light soapy aroma with notes of caramel and yeast. Gentle neutral hops. High carbonation level. Malty flavours, but the body is rather thin. Noticeable alcohol content. Metallic aftertaste with water and light hop bitterness and a little caramel. Lacks a little character and is a little too thin to my taste.
