4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 glennmastrange (1547) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2010
Bottle. Moderate aromas all around, with grain and caramel for the malt, orange for the hops, dough for the yeast, and background notes of raisin, peach, chardonnay wine, brown sugar, and somehow a hint of the seashore. Head is average size, fizzy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy orange/tan with a thick amount if medium sized particles. Flavor starts moderately sweet and acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily and has a lively carbonation. Filled with a huge array of aromas, and a perfect balance between all of the constitiuents of this Tripel makes this one of the best I’ve tried.

750 mL bottle. Clear orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma of pear, banana, passion fruit, and yeast. Bright and lively palate. Caramel sweetness and mixed fruit taste with only a slight bitterness and a semi-dry finish.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 JesseM (918) - Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2008
On tap at the Castle. Probably the best Abbey Triple I’ve ever had. Amazing, enticing fruity aroma of pears mostly, some apple, maybe some peach or apricot. It looks amazing too, not pale and cloudy, but pure amber, and light could get through. Flavour is more or less the same with a great mouth-feel, almost sticky, from the ABV. Very filling and totally different from other Triples I’ve had. I was totally surprised by this one, it really seemed unique to me. One of the best beers I’ve ever had from the Netherlands.

11.2 ounce bottle- poured out a beautiful golden orange with a nice tan head. Aroma had a hint of citrus and apple with a yeast backer. Taste was great, slightly spicy with a very mild hint of orange. The palate was wonderful, smooth and creamy. A winner all the way.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Vignale (783) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 28, 2011
En riktigt fin trippel. Stort skum som läger sig ganska snabbt, gyllengul färg, stor doft av frukt som mogna äpplen och fikon. Söt, men inte för söt, alkoholstark, värmande utan att vara för mycket.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 ontbeermaker (1261) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle, pours a bit of head not too foamy. At cold temps it is pretty harsh to drink, as it cooled down it got much better, it was very nice to drink at a cooler temp, good offering
