330 mL bottle. Pours orange amber with an off-white head. Aroma has lots of caramel, toffee, and green grape, raisin, very strong. Flavor has the green grape/raisin as well as the caramel and toffee, with a toasty biscuit foundation, bubble gum, and cloves. Certainly a great beer.

Appearance: Slightly hazy with yeast, golden color with a nice large white head leaving lots of lacing in the glass
Aroma: Belgian yeast & earthy
Taste: Belgian yeast with some citrus and mild bitterness in the finish
A good beer. Easy drinkability.

dark gold pour with a big pillowy white head. Very fruits, spicy, and yeasty aroma.
Flavor is nice and smooth, with a warming feel. Very good.

Poured into a tulip with a thick white head. Aromas of plums and malts apparent. Initial flavor of malts followed by a slightly sweet, tart taste. Not a bad beer.

I can’t recall having as much difficulty with a corked and caged bottle as I had with this one. Perseverance paid off and we were greeted by a attractive glass of marmalade-orange color with a thick, frothy off-white head. The head dropped fairly soon leaving lots of lacing. The aroma of the Koningshoeven was a sweet fruitiness with yeast and mild pepper in the background. The flavor has fruit at the forefront; oranges and apples, and not overly sweet. Hop bitterness is restrained. There’s a very nice malt balance to the flavor with a slight pepper note added in the aftertaste. The 8% ABV was very well-masked in this Belgian triple. Mouthfeel is moderately thick and creamy. There’s just the right amount of refreshing carbonation.

Pours deep copper, dense white head with excellent retention. Subtle aromas of sweet biscuits, apples, honey, flowers and yeast. Flavour is likewise fairly subtle, malty with some alcoholic warmth and no bitterness, hint of sweet fruit. Mouthfeel bespeaks high gravity, quite rich with a good bit of carbo. One of the better tripels I’ve had recently.

Bottle from Total Wine. Amber pour, a bit hazy with a nice white head. Aroma is very fruity...some bananas and some stone fruit. Flavor is quite good. Yeast, spice, banana and a slight bit of bitterness can be found.

Stonework bottel 0.5 l. Bought Kvickly Hilleroed. Color clear golden amber with white head. Pleasnat sweet raisinlike aroma with spicy notes - justa perfect note of corianter and alcohol. Taste is sweet,longlasting and slightly bitter, the coriander is by no means dominant but is present im a perfectly discrete way. Mouthfeel soft with nice carbonation. The classical deeds of the Benedicitins are kept in this beer - simplicity and love.
