(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was a good Tripel. I am surpised I had to add this to RateBeer. If I can find the bottle and have not thrown it away, I will submit the picture.

Pours a cloudy orange amber and after it was dumped into a trappist glass the off white head faded rather quick. The nose is nice and sweet with some floral hops and rasins. The flaovr is very malty and grainy initially you can really taste the malted barley mixed with light fruits. The booze is not very apparent which is nice to know it is there but not really accentuiated in the flavor. Overall it is a great brew and the flavor is amazing.

Hazy golden colour, big white head. Aroma is very pleasant, of citrus, coriander and other spices. Flavour is full, with caramel malts, spices and some fruits. Smooth mouthfeeling. Very nice!

750 ml bottle from Bev4less in Santee. Pours a hazy copper color with a large sudsy white head that lingers a fair while and leaves plenty of lacing. The Aroma is strong with bananas, pears and mild spices. The flavor mirrors the aroma--the bananas are sweet and ripe in the forefront; other fresh fruits round out the sides: grapes apples and pears. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. The finish is long with complex fruits lingering. Overall: This is the sweetest tripel with the most fruit that I can ever remember. Very different. Recommended.

Nose of summer fruits - apples and pears with caramel, sugar and yeast hints. Pours a golden yellow beer slightly opaque. Head is off-white and firm. Taste is malty with sweetness dominating the palate and a nice balance of hops. A vinuous aftertaste lingers. Great.

(Bottle, 0.75l BBE 04-2005, at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2008-12-23. Thank you Marjut for finding this gem.) Orange. Hazy. Small white head. Raisin, apricots, dried plum and fruitiness in quite strong nose. Full bodied and little bit dry and sugary palate with medium carbonation. Raisin, malts, fruitiness, dried plum, bitterness, sweetness and some chocolate in taste. Raisin, sweetness and bitterness in aftertaste.

fizzy large white head. excellent lacing. mostly lasting. flat thick dark orange body. aroma heavy malty, caramel, light hoppy, flowers, orange, cask wood, alcohol, vanilla. if: moderate sweet light bitter. ff: moderate sweet and bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation and metallic finish. delicioso dulçor inicial lembrando laranja, amargor balanceia o dulçor no final, não a deixando enjoativa, sendo esse, em minha opinião, seu principal trunfo, é uma tripel frutada, esconde bem o teor alcoólico, 200 s
