Cloudy orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is apricots, alcohol and yeast. Taste is spicey and as aroma. Full bodied, alcohol is pretty noticable but that’s OK. Good stuff.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2007 Looks decent, with a cloudy orange brown body and medium but moderately lasting head. Creamy butter toffee aroma. A nice smooth flavour initially, sharpening up though after swallowing leaving a slight bitter twang. Fruity aftertaste, with maybe some pineapple in there with a touch of rum. Quite a satisfying beer, with a warming glow and nice depth. I’m pleased to have a few of these beers, because it already tastes better than when I had it a few months ago.

Copper pour with large, off--white head that quickly recedes leaving a thin head to swim on top. Malty nose with spice and ripened fruits. Flavor is more robust — corander, ripe plum, sweet caramel, sugar, banana and a peppery finish with a bit of tang on top. The body leans toward thin, but has a slightly sticky finish. The alcohol reveals itself at the end with a comfortable warmth. Enjoyable.

me bottle said Koningshoeven Tripel so i think this is right.. Pours a brown almost amber colour..nice respectable head, great lacing .. Smells tart, like a port wine - syrup wine mix. has ample body. quite sweet. has some (good bitter) fruitiness in the taste (plums). Not bad really, not as "tripel" or "trappist" as some others but a fine beeer indeed. warms u up alittle!

30cl bottle. Poured a medium amber with a good white head. Lots of yeast with some sweet citrus in the nose. Flavor was very will balenced. A nice bit of spicy sweetness on the tongue, and finish slightly bitter. I’m looking forward to the rest of this six-pack.
