La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

Rich sweet, butterscotch nose. Similar up front flavour with a touch of fruitcake spice and jaffa. Commercial but drinks well....

A beautiful new penny light copper body, is crowned by a gorgeous white head. None of the over foaming head that plagues too many Trappist beers IMHO. Cereals and bananas dominate the aromas. A little bit of spice, but nothing that is overpowering. Glad of that as I wasn’t in the mood for a Christmas beer. Surprised that this is crisp and clean and only lightly creamy on the tongue. Very tasty malts, (I’m not a Malt Maniac, but this stuff is tasty) and there is a deliciously pleasing sweet banana finish. Quite impressed with this one.

Colore dorato, schiuma abbondante ma di scarsa tenuta. Odore fruttato, albicocca, pesca, frutta matura, spumante. In bocca molto dolce, fruttatissima, con una nota vinosa e un bel finale secco.

Pours a hazy amber-golden color, topped with a rather small white head. Fruity aroma with some obligatory yeasty notes. Sweet, malty start, yeasty in the body with some presence of alcohol. Finish mildly bitter. Not bad, but not something I really adore.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour with a small white head. Fruity aroma. Medium sweet taste with light bitterness. Rich with spicy notes. The alcohol is apparent. Light body, lively carbonation and slight bitterness on the finish. Very good.

Licht troebel geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en licht zoet, citrus, abrikoos, banaan. Erg goede tripel, één van mijn favorieten, drink het graag.

0.33l bottle. Slightly murky orange body, thin white head. Aroma of peach, toast, orange zest and some spicy phenols. The taste follows the nose. Toast, peach, orange zest, floral hops and some spicyness. Nice tripel. I like it.

A cloudy orange beer with an OK head - but it disappears quit fast. It has a very fresh fruity and yeasty aroma with hints of alcohol. The flavor has an alcohol sharpness but is very pleasant fruity with hints of yeast. It’s a pretty sweet beer with almost no bitterness. The fruit taste lingers pretty long.

Really nice triple. Not to yeasty, medium sour with a nice golden pour. Tones of nuts and citrus.
