The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

33cl embossed bottle. Pours a mildly hazy gold, aroma of clove, wheat, and a touch of almost smoke. Flavor is fruitier than what is common of witbiers using no adjuncts, fruity pebbley, herbal orange, and spice. Nice rendition.

White, beautiful and partially durable foam put on top of this wheat. It smells classic of wheat beer, freshly light hops and a nice scent of citrus fruit. The flavor is significantly sweeter than other similar types, but at the same time produce a tart taste that together form a fine balance in the beer. The finish is slightly hoppy and citrus gives it a nice touch.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Colour of lemon squash. Thin, tight, white head. Clove, banana and bubblegum. Wheaty and lemony. A bit gluey. Taste is soft sweet, with a lemony tang. Thin body, but has nicely massaging carbonation. Finish is short, and dry.

Pleasant light lemon and yeast aroma. Clear lemon colored body topped with a cloudy head that starts bold and tappers slowly to a light film. Mild bitter and tartness. Dry citrus taste with light bread body to bring it balance. Refreshing and crisp.

Bottle, medium stable bubbly head with lots of lacing, hazy lemon yellow color with very light orangey taints, aroma of dough with some citrus and just a spicy hint, aroma of wheat and and fruit with citrusy hints, almost completely dry strong prickly carbonation. Not too complex, but enjoyable and quite satisfying.
