COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy very pale yellow with big white creamy, mostly persisting head. Aroma is light wheat, lemon, cinnamon, clean but rather bland. Taste is really good though, on the dry side of a wit, low sweetness, with a light acidity. Palate is watery, rather highly carbonated.

0.33L bottle. Pours hazy light pail with an ample, fluffy white head. Aromas of orange and yeast. Initial flavor is mild sweet with hints of the orange citrus. Not much flavor in the middle, finishes with lots of yeas and not too much bitterness that ends somewhat abruptly. Medium body with a thin mouthfeel and average carbnonation. Overall, tasty enough, but doesn’t stand out within the style.

Smell is very weak and soft. Yeasty. Pours golden with little head. Taste is very aggressive with a lot of carvonation. Should be better.

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow with a huge foamy white head that reminds me of very bad cream that some of the Dutch try to serve you with appeltaart. The beer has notes of banana, clove, lemon, and wheat in the aroma. The flavour is a watery mix of lemon, wheat, and lightly phenolic yeast characters. Unimpressive, and fairly pointless as a beer.

Pours a clear golden/yellow colour with little carbonation. Strong citrus aroma, hoppy notes there. Hoppy citrus flavour, nice sweet, bitter and sour balance. Thin bodied, goes down smooth.

Nice and fresh, bright yellow color with a clear white head. Tastes like lemon and grapes, one of my favorite summer beers.

Bottle - opaque golden with a crisp foamy white head. Good retention and good lacing. Aroma of banana, clove and cinnamon. Some piney and bubblegum hints. Taste is spicy a herby with banana and bubblegum to follow. Slightly sweet. Medium body, slightly dry, prickly carbonation.

Munkepiss...?! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33l bottle. Hazy golden body, white head, lively carbonation. Aroma of honey, coriander, lemon zest and yeast with some cloves. Taste of banana, coriander and some cloves. It’s a bit similar to a German hefeweizen, but lighter in body and more spicy. Nice option in the summer.
